The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.plenty to do if you wanted to but we spent our three days just chilling out on the beach.we did one tour by taxi around the island and into shopping area which we all enjoyed.
Enjoyed it all,
The beach is private and amazing. The staff/ guides for activities are professional and knowledgeable and welcoming. The activities are well organized and smoothly planned. Would especially recommend Booked.net, forest trekking and snorkeling. The pacific rooms are neat and big and generally exceed expectation. Both swimming pools are well kept. Hotel food is affordable and enjoyable. Hornbills and peacocks are allowed to go anywhere and are friendly towards people. Amazing experience in general. Monkeys were a surprise experience but did not affect much except for an interesting episode during the stay.
Too far away, if lands in kl airport, have to take a one hr bus ride to Puduraya main bus station, then take a 4 hr bus ride to Lumut, then from there take a 30 min ferry ride to the Pangkor Island. I would think a counter at the kl airport to pick up all tourists staying at the hotel would be ideal. During the weekends, it gets a lot less quiet and the staff is less organized and patient. Harder to reserve equipments or spa. The extra beds are slightly overpriced, especially as breakfast is not included.
The swinning pools which is located near the beach, which is best for my kids.
The hotel room need to uplift as it is very old and warn off.
The beach really is beautiful. We were there during a particularly slow period and my husband joked with our children that he rented the resort for just our family. When looking at our pictures, I notice that there aren't any other people in the background of any of our photos! It was fantastic!
Felt that the buffet, although good, was overpriced. We live in Malaysia and aren't used to paying 64 rm for a buffet and felt that the quality of the items didn't match the price point. Even for our children, it was 32 rm per evening for them to eat at the buffet and they'd eat a plate of pasta. By American standards, the price was ok, but by Malaysian standards, quite high. There weren't any options for dining, it was at the Hornbill or the same restaurant but by the pool. They were renovating the other restaurant so perhaps that would have had a variety.
the location is splendid
The building and rooms are in need of maintenance and-or repair
It was a very nice hotel with nature very close by. The hotel staff were very polite and helpfull.
Samll rooms for the price paid.
The swimming pools, beach and Spa Facilities
Small hotel room.
Location, rates, and everything
the cossy room design in which has a perfact sea views
1)the aggressive and offensive monkeys. we felt treatened while resting on the beach, especially to our youngr children. 2) no water tab for after bowel, very inconvenient
Nice clean room. Comfortable bed. Pleasant staff. 'Close to nature' - with hornbills, monkeys etc.
In our initial room, the balcony door lock was spoilt, so our stuff, which we left to dry in the balcony was locked out. The air con was also spoilt. The staff, however, change our room promptly, and no problems thereafter.
Pretty calm and uncrowded. Was able to see hornbill birds up close, as they live like seagulls and wait for your leftovers. Hotel also offers daily feeding to the birds.
A bit run down, insects and cockroaches can be found in rooms. The water pipe also bursted leaving us no running water. Only 30% was offered for the inconvence.
I like the enviroment at there.Golden Sand, sunset, night time activities.service and staff also very nice.
I hate the facilities at my room. The aircorn doesn't cold at all.night time really can't feel the cold from it.How come a 4 star hotel got such kind facilities for traveler? The room didn't worth it!!
Bard Feeding oby sun set beach is really attractive for my daughter. 4 hours drive gave my family relax and enjoable experience b peaceful beach. Hotel staffs are good enough in terms of smile, quick response and alertness.
Beach and resort that are well maintained.
The beach was beautiful, with white sands and plenty of fish. We went snorkelling, fishing and swimming just by the bay, without having to go out of the resort. That's one of the great things, coz everything is there. We travelled in a group of 25 over 3 generations and having everything close by would be the easiest.
The dinner buffet spread could be improved. Considering the price of the buffet, it does not reflect the beffet spread at all. Even though there were 25 of us, we went out for dinner the second night as the spread was not up to our expectation.
